Big Thanks to Anjie @ Love Thy Shelf for tagging me! ๐Ÿ˜€

1. A popular book or series that you didnโ€™t like.

The Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead. I know I’ve said this about a MILLION times, but I was SO disappointed with this series! It ruined two of my favorite characters! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

2. A popular book that everyone hates but you love.

The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins. For some CRAZY reason, a lot of people didn’t seem to like this book. Maybe to some, it doesn’t seem like a lot of people, but I just feel like NO ONE should say that they didn’t like this book…How could they not!? It had everything you could ever ask for! I bet you that 99% of the people who didn’t really care for this book, LOVED Twilight! ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ˜‰

3. A love triangle where your ship did not sail.

Lara Jean, Peter, and John Ambrose from P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han. HOW COULD SHE NOT PICK AMBROSE!? Peter is such a loser. I can’t stand him! I truly do not get what people see in him…What am I missing!? Can someone please fill me in!?

4. A popular genre that you hardly reach for.

YA Fantasy. I’ve tried, and I’ve like a handful of fantasy books, but some are just a little too much. I really don’t get how people can read about mermaids and Aliens. At first I was a little iffy about Vampires, but they kind of seem pretty cool (Thanks for bringing Rose into my life, Richelle Mead! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ), but Aliens? I just don’t get it.

5. A beloved character you didnโ€™t like.

Adrian Ivashkov from The Vampire Academy & Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead. Where do I even start with this pathetic loser!? I will admit that at first I thought he was a little charming…Annoying/stalker like, but charming. As time went on, he just got worse and worse! He never could take responsibility for himself. Every time something happened he just moped around and wanted everyone else to fix it. But then in the end, for some crazy reason, it’s like Richelle wanted him too look like the big hero…All he ended up being was a big pain in my ass! Adrian Ivashkov, I am done with you!ย

6. A popular author you canโ€™t get into.

Stephenie Meyer. Sorry, I just can’t.

7. A popular book series you have no interest in reading.

The Mortal Instruments, or any other series by Cassandra Clare. I just don’t get what all the hype is about. I’ve just never been interested. I also think the movie is a big reason why I will never pick the books up…No Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

8. An adaptation you like better than the book.

Girl Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen. I just think the movie was WAY better than the book. I feel like in the book the characters weren’t really developed well. I know that it was a memoir, and it was from her perspective, but I think I would have liked it better if we got to know everyone like we did in the movie. We weren’t given a good description of the other characters, so I found myself just picturing the actresses from the movie. :\

  1. I hate twilight , and I didn’t like Girl on the train either ,

if you are willing to forgive my bad reviewing skills do check my review of the book https://ablogaboutbook.wordpress.com/2016/05/05/all-aboard-the-hype-express-choo-choo-the-girl-on-the-train-review/

btw I had added a 6.5 / 10 ratings in my typical pictoral pattern and also added Pros and cons like i used to do but WordPress lost a lot of my images for some reason ergo they won’t show up

Oh and also , that was very mean of you to say that those who didn’t like Girl on train love Twilight , I am heartbroken ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ญ

  2. Bloodlines was really disappointing! Thank you for tagging me. I’ve been dying to do this, I love discussing unpopular opinions! Haha

  3. I really want to read The Girl on the Train! It sounds really intriguing. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

I’m all about Aliens and Mermaids ๐Ÿ˜‚ I definitely get that fantasy isn’t for everyone though. I read the first book in TMI but I didn’t like it and I don’t really have any interest to read the rest of it haha.

  4. I can definitely understand why you won’t read Cassandra Clare. I read them, but for fun. They’re like my entertaining reads, but I don’t usually expect to gain anything from them. The movie was really awful. I read the book first and the movie was a disaster.
