PENS: A BASIC STAPLE FOR ANY READER.
Any Sarah Dessen book! Especially Lock & Key, and Just Listen! Those two are my favorites! I can’t wait for her new book to come out next year! I freaked when I saw the announcement! If it’s anything like her other books, I know it will be AMAZING! 😀
NOTEBOOKS: BOOKS YOU OWN MULTIPLE COPIES OF.
I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson. I received the Hardcover through a Chaotic Goddess Swap, and I loved it so much that when I heard about, then saw the Paperback cover, I just HAD to have it! I don’t regret a thing! 😉

Sadly, not all of these books were worth the read…

- Lovely, Dark and Deep by Amy McNamara.
- My Heart & Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga.
- Instructions For The End Of The World by Jamie Kain.
- Sugar by Deirdre Riordan Hall.
- The May Queen Murders by Sarah Jude.
GLUE: TWO CHARACTERS THAT WORK TOGETHER EVEN IF THEY AREN’T TOGETHER.
Annabel Greene & Owen Armstrong – Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. From the outside, Annabel and Owen seem like two completely different people who wouldn’t even be friends, let alone be in a relationship. But, if you assume that, then you would be wrong. Annabel and Owen, as cliche as it sounds, complete each other; they are exactly what the other person needs. Annabel took the time to get to know Owen for who he really was, not just some lame rumors based on his size (okay, well some were based on truth, but that is besides the point.) Owen, taught Annabel… well, how to be Annabel. He helped her see herself as she truly was and he helped her realize that she doesn’t have to sacrifice herself and her feelings to make things easier for other people. He also helped her realize that people getting angry with you, doesn’t mean it is over. That sometimes, loved ones fight or disagree and that is just a part of relationships and most of the time it only makes them stronger.
Rosemarie Hathaway & Christian Ozera – Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Rose and Christian… I know, but it isn’t what you think. Rose and Christian pretty much hated each other from jump and they weren’t shy about it either. From kidnappings, Strigoi attacks, friends dying, breakups, murder accusations, and even his aunt framing Rose for the murder of Queen Tati, Rose and Christian ended up becoming friends. Well, more than friends, family. Despite the initial dislike of each other, they grew to love and respect one another even if that isn’t something they would never say out loud. They have fought side by side and they would put their lives on the line for one another and if that doesn’t say love, I don’t know what does.
SCISSORS: WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU LIKE TO DESTROY.
This is a trying time for me. I have read a lot of horrendous books, especially this year, but there are two that reign supreme. The funny thing is, the books aren’t even close to being similar. The only thing they have in common, is that they are comedy sketches which were somehow published into poorly knit novels. The two monstrosities I am speaking of, are Guitar Notes by Mary Amato and Artichoke’s Heart by Suzanne Supplee. If you would like to know why I dislike these books so much, you can read my reviews, HERE and HERE.
ART KIT: WHAT COMPLETED SERIES YOU OWN.
For this I am also going to include Trilogies. I haven’t read all of these series/trilogies, but I do own them! 🙂
- The Percy Jackson & The Olympians Series by Rick Riordan.
- The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead.
- The Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead.
- The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins.
- The Anna and The French Kiss Trilogy by Stephanie Perkins.
