OCD Love Story by Corey Ann Haydu. I wouldn’t say that I “lost interest” in this book, but I did put off buying then reading it for a while. But after I picked it up, it was hard to put down. Everyone should read it! 😀

Run by Kody Keplinger. I just finished it a while ago, and it was great! Bo is such a great character. It was fun to read from her point of view. She is one of a kind. If you haven’t already, READ IT! You won’t be sorry! 😀

dragon4

For this one, I only have one character in mind, and that is THE, Rose Hathaway from the Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. She always went for what she wanted, at whatever cost. She was always the one to take the lead, and everyone seemed to follow what she was doing…Even if it were dangerous.

dragon5

I can’t answer this question because I can’t even remember the last time I’ve read an Independent book…Or at least a good one! :\ I’ve got nothing, sorry!
EDIT:
I miss understood this one, but now I get it! My favorite Independent book/standalone that surprised me is Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. There were so many twist and turns in that book, that I was getting surprised left and right!

dragon-6

Lara Jean & John Ambrose from the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Series by Jenny Han. She didn’t end up picking him, but it’s still Team JA for me! I just don’t care for Peter. I think he is ALL WRONG for Lara Jean. I can’t stand him! 😡

dragon7.png

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I bought it because there was so much hype around. I never really wanted to read it, but then I saw it on sale, so I just picked it up. I then heard LOTS of good things about it, so I wanted to read it, but I never go to it. The movie came out, and I ended up watching it a couple weeks ago. It was good, but it didn’t make me want to read the book. :\

dragon8.png

I don’t wish I was part of it, but one of the BEST Bookish friendships EVER, would have to be the friendship between Halley and Scarlett from Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen. There’s nothing else like it! 😀

dragon9.png

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead made me want to learn more about Witchcraft…That’s probably to only positive thing that came out of this series. 😉 If you didn’t know already, I hated it! 😆

toothless1

Drowning Is Inevitable by Shalanda Stanley. I probably use this book for EVERY question like this, and it is still true. Why aren’t more people talking about this book?! If you haven’t read it, DO IT NOW, and get to talking about it! TELL EVERYONE ABOUT IT! 😀

dragon10

For this one I’m gonna have to go with Bo Dickinson from Run by Kody Keplinger. She had a bad rap, and no one wanted to give her a chance…Well expect for Agnes, but anyway, she had a lot of shit to deal with. Not only in public, but especially at home. But SPOILER ALERT!, she gets through it! 😀 Bo is my girl! 😉

dragon11

I ALWAYS use The Girl On The Train, but this time I’m gonna go with The Good Girl by Mary Kubica. It’s VERY entertaining! 😀

dragon12

I’m gonna have to go with Adrian Ivashkov from The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. Yeah he does kind of calm down, but Adrian is a total ass. He thought just because he is Royal, he can have anything, and anyONE her wants. But I will say I miss the arrogant Adrian. It’s WAY better than the Pussy Willow we were left with after the Bloodlines series. :\

dragon13

We Have Always Lived In The Castle by Shirley Jackson. This is a VERY good book. I wish it was longer! But don’t worry, even though it is short, it got the job done! You should definitely pick this book up if you already haven’t. It’s perfect for the Halloween season! 😀

dragon14

The Duff by Kody Keplinger. It was SO GOOD, that I read it in one sitting, which is quite rare these days…Well for me anyway. 🙂

dragon15

Along For The Ride by Sarah Dessen. Or a handful of her other books! She is amazing, and EVERYONE should read her books. I only have two more to go, then I am done with all of her books until her new release in 2017! I CAN’T WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON THAT BOOK! 😀

dragon16

I’m cheap when it comes to buying books…Or just about ANYTHING, so I usually only buy my books from Half Price Books, or if they are on sale somewhere else. I’ve been looking for a certain copy of The Bird’s Nest by Shirley Jackson, for a while now, and I STILL haven’t found it. I even gave up on finding it cheaper at Half Price, and went to Barnes and Noble, and they didn’t even have it! REALLY?! Oh well I guess I’ll just have to get it from Book Depository!

dragon17

I’m gonna cheat for this one and not use a debut Author & Book. I’m just going to use The Sun Is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon! She will be a debut Author until November 1st ( 😉 ) , which can’t get here soon enough! 😥dragon18

Any of those sick 50 Shades books! Let’s just say there’s a better chance of me reading the Twilight Saga…(If there was a “Puke” Emoji, I would insert it here.) 😉

  1. Love this tag! I’m so glad that you liked Drowning is Inevitable. It has been sitting on my shelf for almost a year (I got it for Christmas) and I have been weary of reading it, but now I want to pick it up!

  2. I’m so glad you enjoyed the tag I created! I haven’t read most of the books on your post, but they look interesting. I noticed you couldn’t come up with an independent book that surprised you; when you look back, it’s surprising how many books actually belong to a series. I had a hard time with that one as well.
Here’s my original tag (with updated rules) if you want to take a look: https://poreoverthepages.wordpress.com/2016/09/22/how-to-train-your-dragon-book-tag-original/
    Happy reading!
