7/21/2016: Everyone loves music. Choose a book
where music is a big part of the story.
When I saw this weeks topic, I was in a bit of a panic, because the only books
that I can remember reading that have a big music presents are: Just Listen
by Sarah Dessen, Guitar Notes by Mart Amato, and This Song Is (Not) For You
by Laura Nowlin. The problem with those books is, I already used Just Listen,
in a previous Book Traveling Thursday, and I just don’t like the other two
books…Not at all! So, I took a look around Goodreads, and thankfully
I found How To Build A Girl by Caitlin Moran! I can’t believe that I
almost forgot about this book!
1.) Catalan/Valencian 2.) Czech 3.) Dutch.
My favorite cover, hands down, is the Czech cover. Isn’t it just
AWESOME!! I wish the US cove looked like this! I just love the pop
of color, over the black and white. If I saw this on the shelf, I would
pick it up without a second thought!
1.) German 2.) Estonian 3.) Spanish.
My least favorite cover out of these three would have to be the Estonian
cover. The moment I saw it, I knew that it was one of the worst covers
I have EVER seen! Who did that, and why did they think it was okay?
I’d be sad, if I had to own that cover…I’m sorry, but it’s hideous! 😦
Have you read How To Build A Girl? If so, how did you feel about it?

I have never read this book, though heard of. I’ll have to check it out. I agree that the Czech cover is pretty good.
