6/30/2016: We’re halfway through 2016.
Choose your favorite book of the year so far.
OH NO! I just used The Girl On The Train, TWO WEEKS AGO!!! So now I have
to pick another book that I think deserves this honor, 😉 who also has more than
ONE book cover…That means that I can choose my second favorite, Weird Girl and
What’s His Name, because it’s a newer book, and there is only ONE COVER!! NOO!! 😦
Sadly, I haven’t read as many books as I would have liked to have read so far thisÂ
year, so this is going to be a really hard choice! What am I going to do!? 😦
Okay so I have come to the conclusion that I don’t have any options for this topic,
so I going to make up my own…Sorry…That topic will be:
One of my all time favorite books:
One of my all time favorite books would have to be, We Have Always Lived
In The Castle by Shirley Jackson. I just LOVED reading it! I had the creep factor
that I love, and it left me wanting more! I would LOVE to reread this book on day! 😀

There are SO many different covers that say “English” and I don’t
know if they are from the UK or the US, so I just put “English.” Anyway,
My favorite out of all of these covers, would have to be the UK cover #1. IÂ
don’t know what it is about it, but I just love it. I think it fits the story,
it’s haunting! I also like the English cover #6. I know it’s plain, but IÂ
love the colors!! 🙂

My least favorite cover of this bunch of winners, is the German cover. I’m
just not into that style of art, and it makes it seem like the book is about
uppity posh people. It’s a turn off. I wouldn’t have read this book if I saw
that cover. I’m also disappointed in the Chinese cover. I feel like it could
have been so much better! From afar it looks like it’s going to be amazing,
but up close it is nothing more than a bad Photoshop job.

So many interesting covers here! I have started reading this book twice now and I never go past the first pages for some weird reason. The worst thing is that the beginning is amazing, I thought it was great and I enjoyed the writing, but for some reason I always stop. One day, though, I’ll finally read it.
This is one of my FAVORITE books.I loved reading it. It was so creepy but I loved the sisters. Your favorite covers are all winners. I love the yellow one with the line drawing of the house.
Oooh I’ve been interested in reading this book for quite a while now! It sounds so good. I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed it! Some of those covers are so awful. Yikes. I really love #’s 3, 5 and 6 from your favourites.
I have never heard of this book, but all of the covers look so pretty… well most of them lol.
