6/23/2016: – Summer just started!!
Choose a book you want to read this Summer.
I’ve been saying that I was going to read this book for YEARS!! That needs to change this summer!!!! I guess the problems is, I always get books that I want to read more at the moment, so then I just put this book back on the shelf, and I think I’ve been doing that for the last TWO YEARS!! I know, I know…I should be ashamed of myself!! Anyway, the book that I’ve been neglecting all this time is Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. I’ve heard SO MANY great things about this book, yet I just leave it hanging there…Poor book! Whatever! That needs to stop now…I NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!
Original/United States Cover:

Favorite Covers:

1.) Romanian 2.) Italian 3.) UK 4.) Spanish.
I don’t actually know which of these is my favorite, so I’ll tell you what
I like about each of them. I like the font on the Romanian Cover, I just like the
art as a whole on the Italian Cover, I like all the colors on the UK Cover, and
I love the image on the Spanish Cover.
Least Favorite Covers:

1.) Dutch 2.) Indonesian 3.) Polish.
My least favorite cover would have to be the Dutch Cover. I don’t know…
It just makes it look like it’s going to be lame or a total cheese fest! If the Indonesian
and Polish cover had little changes, I would love the covers. the Indonesian cover is
cool, but I just don’t like the bottom half, and the bottom half of the Polish cover
is beautiful but I just don’t care for the top half.
That’s if for this week’s Book Traveling Thursday!
Hopefully I will actually get to Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour, this year…

Oh, you have to read this one! It is beautifully illustrated with hand-crafted music playlists! It was a wonderful read.
This looks awesome! I am going to add it to my TBR pile. I love all the colors you picked for your feature.
Thanks! 😀
hahaha, same thing happens to me all the time. I tell myself that I’ll read one book but end up reading another.. ugh. I have this on my wishlist. After Since You’ve Been Gone, I really really just want to read Morgan Matson’s books! I hope you get to read this book soon! 😀
I still need to read Since You’ve Been Gone, too! 😐
I’m thinking of reading this, and more contemporary in general. I just need to find contemporaries that don’t have a lot of romance in them. I don’t mind some romance, I just don’t like when it’s the main focus.
True.
Any recommendations?
There’s a little romance in these, but it’s not the main point of the story:
-Drowning Is Inevitable by Shalanda Stanley
-Tell The Wolves I’m Home by Carol Rifka Brunt.
-Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson.
-Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen.
-Weird Girl and What’s His Name by Meagan Brothers.
That’s all that I can think of off the top of my head. Hope that helps! 🙂
Thanks!
No Problem! 🙂
I need to read this one too because I love a good road trip book. Also I’m liking the original/US cover of it the best… although I wish it was a little less yellow-y.
I’ve read two books by Morgan Matson and I can’t wait to read this one. All her books are so good and summery.
