The 56:
The hair on the back of my neck stood up. I froze, unable to move or finish going for my stake. I forgot about what I’d been doing and completely lost track of the people and commotion around me. The world slowed down, everything fading around me. There was only Mason-that ghostly, shimmering Mason who glowed in the dark and seemed like he so badly wanted to tell me something.

Gosh, you’ve made me remember how much I adore this series! I need to plan a re-read sometime this year. Trouble is I also have the Bloodlines series to catch up on!
Oh this series it turning out to be so good! I didn’t think I would like it because I usually try to stay away from vampire stuff, but I LOVE IT! 🙂
I know right? Rose is AWESOME! And Dimitri… Swoon!
This is one of my favorite YA series. I hope you are enjoying it. The book I am featuring this week is Friday Barnes Girl Detective by R. A. Spratt. It’s middle grade but I loved it! Happy reading.
Surprisingly, I am LOVING this series!
I admit to having seen the movie without reading the books- I enjoyed the film a lot, actually, although I understand it differs a lot from the books. I’m curious if you’ve seen it, and if you can still enjoy it after having read the books?
I only watched parts of it after I read the first book and I’m sorry, but it’s BAD!😱 I think the worst thing about it was…everything! Especially the guy they got to play Dimitri
I watched it as a fun flick but when I saw some of the synopsis, I thought, “Okay, book fans must hate this!” I did not root for her and Dimitri at all in the movie, I thought they had zero chemistry and that part of the film was just awkward!
I think the whole thing was awkward. I think the casting was all wrong, especially Dimitri…Just wrong!
I absolutely adore this series~ I’d completely forgotten about Mason until I read this snippet… Ugh I miss him 😦
Mason! 😥
Quite a spine-tingling 56! I like it!
Happy Sunday!
