For this weeks Book Traveling Thursday, I chose a book by someone who inspires me everyday, and that book is, The Diary of A Young Girl By Anne Frank. Anne Frank inspires me to 1 not take anything for granted, and 2 be more positive. Anne Frank was living through something so horrible, but she still saw the brighter side. Not only in life, but people. I don’t know how she did it. She’s amazing.
Original Cover:

United States Cover:

Favorite Covers:

1.) Italian.
2.) UK.
3.) Dutch.
My favorite cover is the Italian Cover. She looks so angelic and beautiful! This is such a great book, and I think everyone should read it at least once in their life. So, if you haven’t read it yet, GET TO IT! You won’t be sorry! 🙂
Least Favorite Covers:

1.) UK.
2.) Spanish.
3.) Spanish.
4.) Chinese.
I’m sorry, but I hate all of these covers. There is no need to fictionalize Anne Frank. Her face should be on every single last one of her books! How dare you make her blonde!? If she was blonde with blue eyes, she probably wouldn’t have gone through such terrible things! Get it right!

Very good point about the blonde cover! This book is so amazing. As for books that inspire me… I’ll say Sister Outsider by Audre Lorde
Thanks, I’ll have to check it out! 🙂
