Top 5 Christmas Movies.

Christmasmovies

I haven’t watched some of these movies in what seems like FOREVER. I guess now is a good time to get to it! Here are my Top 5 Christmas Movies!

1.) The Family Stone.
Starring: Diane Keaton, Dermot Mulroney, Sarah Jessica Parker,
Claire Danes, Luke Wilson, Craig T. Nelson, and Rachel McAdams.
Released: December 16th, 2005.
I think this just might be my most favorite Christmas movie! It has the perfect mixture, for a perfect movie. It’s funny and dramatic all at the same time. The ending always kills me, it’s so sad! 😦 I’m scared to watch it, cause I know I’ll be balling in the end! 😥

2.) The Holiday.
Starring: Jack Black, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz,
and Jude Law.
Released: December 8th, 2006.
I’ve only watched this movie once, but it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with it. It’s such a sweet movie. I love Kate Winslet, and Jack Black, so it was nice to see them in a movie together. I can’t wait to watch it again!

3.) Just Friends.
Starring: Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart, and Anna Faris.
Released: November 23rd, 2005.
I was kind of stuck on what movies to add to my list, so then I Googled Popular Christmas Movies, and Just Friends popped up. I forgot about this movie! It is SO funny, and I’m glad I found it. Now I need to go watch it! Some people might not really consider this a Christmas movie, but I do…Seeing as it does take place during Christmas!

4.) Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.
Starring: Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, and Daniel Stern.
Released: November 20th, 1992.
Wow this movie came out SO long ago! Some people might try and fight me on this, but I think that The 2nd Home Alone, is the best one! New York is the perfect Christmas setting in my mind, and it just makes the movie a whole lot better!

5.) Elf.
Starring: Will Ferrell, James Caan,
and Zooey Deschanel.
Released: November 7th, 2003.
I don’t know what to say, this movie is SO dumb, but it’s hard not to like it! Whoever came up with it is a Genius, and Will Ferrell is HILARIOUS! He’s too much! 😆

I can’t wait to see these movies again. I’ve been meaning to watch these movies this month. Out of all of them, I have only watched Elf. I think this weekend I will finally sit down, and binge watch the rest! I’m excited! 😀 It’s weird, I feel like I haven’t watch any new great Christmas movie in a LONG time! Hopefully something great comes out soon!

Let me know what you will be watching this holiday season, down in the comment! Happy Holidays! 😀

  1. HOME ALONE! ^.^ I’m hoping to watch this tonight while I make a gingerbread house. Ee!

And I just saw ‘The Holiday’ for the first time this year. I don’t generally lean towards these warm and fuzzy stories, but it was a very good movie. ^.^
