Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag

Mid-Year (1)

I am here to post yet another book tag!
Big thanks to Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Productions Blog
and Trang & Lashaan @ Bookidote for this tag!

1.) Best Book You’ve Read So Far in 2015:

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon.
I really LOVED this book! I can’t get over how much I loved it!
You can read my review HERE.

2.) Best Sequel You’ve Read So Far in 2015:

Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins.
I really enjoyed this book. I think it was a great wrap up for the
Stephanie Perkins Companion Trilogy. SO GOOD.
You can read my review HERE.

3.) New Release you Haven’t Read Yet, But Want To:

Why Not Me by Mindy Kaling.
I love Mindy! Sadly I still haven’t finished reading her first book, 😦 but I
REALLY REALLY can’t wait to get my hands on this book! I’m also happy to
say that I have FINALLY all caught up with The Mindy Project, now I just have
to sit and wait for more!

4.) Most Anticipated Release for the Second Half of the Year:

Weird Girl and What’s His Name by Meagan Brothers.
This sounds like it’s going to be a really good book! I just
hope that it’s not disappointing.

5.) Biggest Disappointment:

Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin.
I feel like I’ve said this too many times since reading this book.
I’m over it. You can read my review HERE.

6.) Favorite New Author:

It’s a toss up between Jandy Nelson (The Sky Is Everywhere) and
Sarah Ockler (Twenty Boy Summer).I discovered and fell in love with both
of their books this year. I just want ALL of their books!!!!

7.) Newest Fictional Crush:

I’m too old to be having crushes on these YA teens.
Although if some of them were older..Maybe.. Anyways, I’m actually gonna
choose a movie fictional character that best suits my age group. That person is:
Paul Schneider from All the Real Girls, Lars and the Real Girl and
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. YAY!

8.) Book That Made You Cry:

Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson.
Do we have to keep bringing this up!? This book crushed me!
I loved it though. You can read my review HERE.

9.) Favorite Book to Film Adaptation You Saw This Year:

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins and The Duff by Kody Keplinger.
I have two problems: #1. I’ve read and LOVED Mockingjay, but the movie
hasn’t come out yet….(But we all know it’s going to be AMAZING!) and
#2. I haven’t read The Duff, but I watched the movie and I LOVED it!
I guess I’m cheating a bit…Oh well! 🙂

10.) Most Beautiful Book You’ve Bought So Far This Year:

Lovely, Dark and Deep by Amy McNamara and Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver.
I liked both of the covers so much and I couldn’t choose so here are both of them.
I bought Lovely, Dark and Deep back in March, and I got Vanishing Girls for my
birthday in May. I would have chosen Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon, but
I don’t own a physical copy yet!

11.) What Books Do You Need To Read Before The End of The Year?:

Sugar by Deirdre Riordan Hall.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes.
And We Stay by Jenny Hubbard.

Thanks again to Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Productions Blog and
