I was tagged by Kacie from Kacie’s Bookshelf for the “3 Days, 3 Quotes” challenge. Thank you very much for nominating me. I really appreciate it!
The Rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.
Day 2:
Today’s quotes comes from the pages of Lovely, Dark and Deep by Amy McNamara. This was a great book. It had so many good quotes, and for the first time EVER, I actually marked the pages with Sticky Notes. This was a very emotional book. I will admit that I teared up a few times while reading. I think it covers grief very well. Even though Cal Owens got on my nerves, I still enjoyed it. Everyone should read this book. I gave Lovely, Dark and Deep 4 Stars.
One of my many favorite quotes from this book is:
“The thing about grief is that you have to let yourself feel it. Even the worst parts. Especially the worst parts. Pass through it. Let it pass through you.
It´s your strenght-your humanity-your openness to your feelings. Even when you think you might not come through.” -Lovely, Dark and Deep.
Today I Nominate:
- Amy & Eleanor at A Fangirl’s Opinion.
- Nicole at Nymphadora Winterfell.
- Charlotte at A Bookish Owl.
I have never read that book, but it is an excellent quote!
