Side Characters That Deserve Their Own Series:

I haven’t read a lot of “Series” so I included Stand Alones and a Memoir.

        

1. Johanna Mason from the Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins.  Johanna is my favorite character in this series.  She is tough as nails and doesn’t take crap from anyone.  I think her life in a book would be great.
2. Lisa from Girl Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen.  Lisa was wacky as hell, and I know she would have a great story.  Even though this was a true story, it would be cool to learn more about Lisa before and after Suzanne met her.
3. Teri Litch from Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson.  Catalyst is one of my favorite books.  I can read it over and over again.  Teri is a big part of the books and she has a lot of secrets that would be great in detail.  Her story deserves to be told.
4. Layla Chatham from Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen.  Layla is my fave, she had Sydney’s back from day one.  She also has a lot of crap going on in her life, and I want to know all about it.
5. Tiffany from The Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick.  Tiffany is a great character, watching Jennifer Lawrence play her made me love her even more.  I would love to read more about her.
