Author You’ve Read The Most Books From:
Deb Caletti. I’ve read all of her YA/Teen books except for the last two. 8 books in total.
Best Sequel Ever:
Hmm… I don’t know. I usually don’t read books that are in a series. The only books I can think of that I have read all of or most of the set is Hunger Games and The Stephanie Perkins books..So I’m gonna Pick Lola and The Boy Next Door because I really loved that book. Oh and I also loved Something Blue by Emily Giffin. I’m thinking that Something Borrowed and Something Blue can be looked at as a Duology.
Currently Reading:
I am currently reading nothing at the moment, but I think the next book I’m going to read is Isla and The Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins.
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Mostly water. Sometimes Iced Tea.
E-Reader or Physical Books:
For me it all really depends on which is cheaper. sometimes I can find a good book for a good price in paperback. If i can’t find a physical copy of something I really want or if its really cheap as an eBook, Ill get the eBook.
Fictional Character You Would Have Dated In High School:
Hmm this is a hard one. I really liked Cricket in Lola and The Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins…I also like Aaron from Ketchup Clouds by Annabel Pitcher. I choose Aaron.
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson. I didn’t like that way it was written but I enjoyed the characters, and it was a cute story, so in the end I’m glad I read it.
Hidden Gem Book:
The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender. I really loved reading this book. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone talk about it or say that they’ve read it. Everyone should read this book, Its a good one.
Important Moments of Your Reading Life:
Hmm I’d have to say getting my first library card when I was younger. Also getting to pick out your own book for the first time would have to be an important moment in my reading life. I learned at a young age that I didn’t have to read what everyone else was reading. I could choose what I liked for myself.
Just Finished:
The book that I just finished reading was Breathe My Name by R.A. Nelson….I’ll jusy say it’s not one for my favorites list.
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
I won’t read romance novels. I just don’t care for them.
Longest Book You’ve Read:
Fall On Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald. 508 Pages.
Major Book Hangover Because Of:
Ketchup Clouds by Annabel Pitcher. After reading this book I didn’t know if I should be happy or sad. I couldn’t get over what happened at the end of the book so I didn’t even want to read anything else for a while.
Number of Bookcases You Own:
I actually only have one bookcase. I don’t own a lot of books. Most of the books I’ve read had either been borrowed from the library or from my sisters. I just recently this year started buying books.
One Book That You Have Read Multiple Times:
A book I have read multiple times is Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is one of my all time favorite books. I’ve owned it about three times in Paperback and I also have it as a Nook Book (eBook). I’ve read the book about 6 or 7 times.
Preferred Place to Read:
My room.
Quote From A Book That Inspires You/Gives You Feels:
“I took a deep breath and listened to the old brag of my heart. I am, I am, I am.”
-Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar.
“We hit the sidewalk, and dropped hands. How I wished, right then, that the whole world was a street.”
-Aimee Bender,The Particular Sadness Of Lemon Cake.
Reading Regret:
Buying books before doing research. I’ve bought a few or more eBooks without really knowing about them, or after reading a few chapters I can’t get into the book. I know that with a Kindle you can get a refund within a certain amount of time, but that is not the case when you buy Nook Books. Once you buy it, you’re stuck with it forever.
Series You Started and Need to Finish:
I need to finish reading the second and third book in the Divergent series. I’ve put it off because I was spoiled on what happens to one of the main characters and it just turned me right off. Maybe one day I’ll finish them.
Three Of Your All-Time Favorite Books:
Just three? It’s hard to choose just three but I’ll try my best. On second thought here is five:
-The Hotel New Hampshire by John Irving.
-A Wolf at The Table by Augusten Burroughs.
-Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple.
-Tell The Wolves I’m Home by Carol Rifka Brunt.
-Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson.
Unapologetic Fangirl For:
Anna and The French Kiss, and Lola and the Boy Next door by Stephanie Perkins.
Very Excited For This Release More Than Any Other:
Veronica Mars: Mr. Kiss and Tell by Rob Thomas and Jennifer Graham. I LOVE everything Veronica Mars so I am VERY excited for the Second book to come out in 2015.
Worst Bookish Habit:
Accidentally bending books and folding pages. I’ll drop a book while reading and screw up the pages.
X Marks The Spot (Start On Your Bookshelf And Count to the 27th Book):
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.
Your Latest Book Purchase:
I bought 3 Nook Books:
-Breathe My Name by R.A. Nelson.
